Mark Collis

Mark Collis

President / Owner

A former Marine, Mark Collis trained extensively on electronics and technology. In the private sector, he quickly climbed the ladder to management. During his career, Mark has started three successful companies, including two he sold prior to launching ESI in 1997. Since he started ESI, the company has grown to fill a distinctive niche in technology consulting, providing exceptional service and communication in addition to leading edge technical expertise. Thanks to Mark’s leadership, ESI stays at the forefront of technological developments, enabling the company to offer partnerships that prepare clients for the future.

Joyce Ward

Joyce Ward

VP of Operations

Joyce Ward worked with ESI President Mark Collis at a previous company, and when Mark called on her for engineering expertise at ESI, she was happy to join the team. Joyce has worked at ESI since 2001, first as a systems engineer, and then from 2004 to the present as Vice President of Operations. With a background in network and telecommunications services as well as systems engineering and management experience, Joyce brings a range of experience and strong commitment to customer relationships to ESI.

Sales Director

Over the past decade, Andrew Hall has developed considerable expertise in IT infrastructure and operations. With a focus in business development and a commitment to customer service, Andrew provides creative technology solutions to organizations large and small. In his work as the Sales Director at ESI, Andrew leads the sales team, providing coaching and professional development to make the team more effective and increase their ability to help customers. Under Andrew’s leadership, the ESI sales team helps clients define IT needs, understand options, and make informed decisions about technology.

Mike Herbert

Cabling / Security Manager

Mike Herbert joined ESI in 2005 after serving in the US Army and in private industries in communications, IT consulting, and IT project management. As ESI’s Cable / Security Manager, Mike oversees creative network design, repairs, budget, and sales, and coordinates ESI staff. Mike Herbert’s certifications include Network Plus, Meraki Networks, Axis Networks, and Shortel.

Randy Abbott

Randy Abbott

Managed Services Manager

Before joining the ESI team in 2006, Randy Abbott served as President and Owner of a desktop and network repair company, and built expertise in electronic services and team leadership at General Electric. As Escalations Manager at ESI, Randy oversees daily Helpdesk functions and manages the escalation of client needs. Randy holds certifications in Comp TIA, A+, Network +, and Server+.

Gary Morris

Gary Morris

Warranty Services Manager

Gary Morris has worked with ESI President Mark Collis since 1980, first as co-workers, then as joint business owners. When Gary followed Mark and joined ESI in 1998, he brought over a decade of engineering and management experience to the team. As ESI’s Hardware Services and Managed Services Director, Gary directs both on- and off-site customer service, and works with ESI partners and vendors including HP, Compaq, IBM, Lenovo, and Dell. Gary Morris holds certifications in Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Time Management-Baker Communications systems and applications.

Dan Boland

Dan Boland

Technology Director

Dan Boland brings over 35 years of IT technical and account management expertise to our team. Prior to joining ESI, Dan served as a systems consultant for Dell, HP, Compaq and EMC focusing on enterprise-class storage, servers and networking. Dan has also held a variety of sales and pre-sales technical roles for national, regional and local channel partners in the Indianapolis area. Besides serving as ESI’s Technology Director, Dan oversees our Consulting, Project Management and Pre-sales Technical resource teams.
